I have been inspecting piling foundations since 1992 and this job is definitely one of the best I have ever inspected. The pilings were pretty much all in line and they were notched so that the girders were bearing properly on the notches. This made it easier to drill and bolt the girders to the pilings without having to shim under the girders. This will help prevent racking in a storm event."
